Pune: PMC Issues Revised Lockdown Order; Liquor, Non-Essential Shops Allowed To Open Now

Pune, 31st May 2021: A day after the Maharashtra state government issued an order for relaxations in lockdown, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) today issued a revised order.

 

As per the order issued by PMC Commissioner Vikram Kumar, the new order will remain in force from June 1 to 7 am on June 15. However, after 10 days some changes are expected based on the number of Coronavirus disease (COVID19) cases and positivity rate in the city.

 

New order is as follows:

  • All essential category shops are allowed to open from 7 am to 2 pm on all days.
  • All banks are allowed to open on all working days.
  • All standalone (not inside malls or shopping complexes) non-essential shops allowed to open from 7 am to 2 pm from Monday to Friday.
  • Restaurants and bars are allowed to give parcel/home delivery
  • Ecommerce companies can do home delivery of essential and non-essential items
  • After 3 pm, there will be a strict curfew and people will be allowed to go out of home only for medical emergencies or valid reasons.
  • All government offices (other than those involved in essential or Corona work) are allowed to operate with 25% of staff.
  • All agriculture related shops, APMC markets are allowed to open on all days from 7 am to 2 pm.
  • All liquor shops are allowed to open from 7 am to 2 pm on all days.
