Pune: PMC Launches ‘PMC Care’ Application And Portal To Help And Increase Engagement With Citizens
Pune 5th Sept 2023: The Pune Municipal Corporation has launched an application ‘PMC Care’ to help the citizens and take feedback on various issues with an intent to improve the facilities. The application, claimed to be one stop solution for multiple queries and problems, was launched by the Additional Municipal Commissioner of PMC Ravindra Binawade and CEO of Smart City Sanjay Kolte on Tuesday.
The PMC Care application and portal will help connect the administration, citizens and citizen engagement platform, said PMC officials. “It is such a platform where the municipal administration can share its stand on several issues with the citizens and it will help the administration to make the facts reach citizens. Instead of using 10 different applications the citizens can find information and help using this single application. They can also share blogs and articles on it” Ravindra Binawade said.
According to the officials, facilities such as marriage registration, birth or death certificate, No Objection Certificate, Payment of Property Tax, Water Tax etc. can be availed using the PMC Care platform. The citizens can also lodge complaints about various problems in their areas and the PMC officials will access the complaint and solve it. The application has been made available in the PlayStore Application for the citizens and the civic body has urged people to use it to increase engagement with the administration.
