Pune: PMC To Start Regularization Of Building Construction On Gunthewari Land From 10th January

Pune, 6th January 2022: The Maharashtra state government in October had ordered regularization of building construction on Gunthewari land. But its implementation was not started by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).

 

Finally, this process will start on Monday, January 10. The registration will be done online, for which the PMC has appealed to the citizens to submit their proposals with the help of architects. The deadline to apply is the next three months. The constructions done till December 31, 2020, will be eligible. Also, an architect cannot charge Rs 5,000 per proposal for regularization.

A meeting of municipal administration and office bearers was held regarding regularizing the Gunthewari constructions in Pune.

Mayor Muralidhar Mohol said that methods for regularizing constructions as per government order has been finalised. This included a proposal from newly merged villages as well as old corporations boundary areas.

No relief for the following constructions :

– Red Zone, BDP, Hill Top, Hill Slope, Green Zone, Agriculture Zone
– No Development Zone, Reservation, Road construction in the development plan, river basin.
– Construction on government land as well as partial construction
