Pune: PMC To Take Strict Action Against Those Who Spit In Public Places

Pune, November 5, 2020: Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to take strict action against the violators. Action will be taken against those who will spit on the roads or not wearing the mask.

The move has come in the wake of Diwali as a large number of people will come out of the houses for shopping and other purposes.

Although currently, the COVID-19 cases have come down, the precautions need to be taken to avoid a further increase in the cases. Thus, PMC has geared up. Till now PMC has collected Rs 5 lakh towards fine against the violators for not wearing the mask and Rs two crores against those who spitted on roads.
