Pune: PMC’s Building Department Took Action On Misuse Of Parking Space On Lakshmi Road
Pune, 9th November 2022: The Building Department of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has taken action against those who use the basement parking of buildings on the Lakshmi road of Pune in a manner different from the approved map. The department also demolished around four thousand square feet of construction. This time the construction was demolished with the help of one breaker, and four gas cutters. On this occasion, a large number of police forces were deployed along with municipal employees.
Under the guidance of Building Department Superintendent Engineer Sudhir Kadam, Executive Engineer Praveen Shende, the team of Zone No Seven Branch/Junior Engineer, Deputy Engineer and Drafting Assistant started the operation around 10.00 am on Wednesday (November 9).
In the last 15 days, PMC conducted a detailed survey between City Post Chowk and Alka Talkies Chowk with the help of Tulip Engineers and issued notices to those using basements and parking lots other than the approved map.
PMC had issued notices to ten places of the seven properties in this area. A team from the Building Department of PMC took action on it today.
