Pune : PMC’s Treated Sewage Water Booking App For Construction Activities Gets Good Response
Pune 5th July 2023: The application launched by the Pune Municipal Corporation to promote and increase the usage of recycled water for the construction activities in the city has received a good response as a total of 147 tanker owners and 765 builders have registered on the application since its launch. Through this app, 147 tankers have utilized 4.9 lakh liters of sewage water for construction projects.
In order to recycle the sewage water and increase its usage for the construction activities, the Pune Municipal Corporation has developed an application called ‘STP Tanker.’
The application offers builders with convenient access to a database of registered tanker owners making it simple for them to connect with them. The tanker owners ensure the quality standard needed for the construction activities. They are working in coordination with the Pune Municipal Corporation’s eight sewage treatment plants in the city.
