Pune: PMPML Announces Extra Buses for Vijay Stambh Shaurya Din Program at Bhima-Koregaon
Pune, 29th December 2023: In anticipation of the significant Vijay Stambh Manvandana program at Mauje Perne Phata (Bhima Koregaon) on December 31, 2023, and January 1, 2024, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) has strategized the deployment of additional buses. This initiative aims to facilitate the transportation of followers paying their respects to the Vijay Stambh.
Bus Routes and Pickup Points:
In compliance with the directives of the Collector and District Magistrate, Pune, PMPML will operate buses from designated pickup points. The following locations have been identified for bus services:
– Lonikand Police Station Limits:
1. Wrestling Ground, Lonikand
2. Khandoba Mal, Lonikand
3. Military School, Phulgaon, Tulapur Road
4. Chinchavan Hotel/Y Junction, Tulapur Road
– Shikrapur Police Station Limits:
1. Jeet Parking, Waqf Board
2. Jadhav Parking, Chakan Road
3. Torana Hotel, Shikrapur Parking
4. Vadhu Parking, Inamdar Hospital
PMPML is set to offer complimentary bus services from the aforementioned pickup locations to Bhima Koregaon Vijay Stambha. This initiative aims to ensure the smooth and convenient commute of attendees to the prestigious event.
In addition to the arranged bus services, PMPML extends an appeal to the followers of the corporation to consider travelling from Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad city using buses from other routes to the designated parking lots.
