Pune: PMPML Passengers Will Have To Change Their Travel ‘Me Card’.

Pune, 17th July 2021: Passengers in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad will have to change the ‘Me Card’ used for bus journeys. Because the company that changed the card service has changed. Therefore, PMPML passengers will have to go to pass centre again. The new ‘Me Card’ will be available to passengers from 1st August.

The ‘Me Card’ currently used by travelers has been discontinued due to technical reasons. Senior citizens pass (Rs.500), General pass (Rs.1400) , Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and Rs. These pass holders will have to take the photocopy of their old I-card and Aadhar card and register for the new  I-card between July 19 and 26. From August 1, registerd passengers will be able to collect old I-card from the pass centres and get a new I-card free of cost from the PMPML. Passengers will be able to travel with the old I-card till August 1, said Chetan Kerure,   co-managing director, PMP.

Passengers can register for the new I-card at these pass centres between 8 am and 2 pm. – 1) Pune Municipal Building, 2) Hadapsar, 3) Kothrud Depot, 4) Warje Malwadi, 5) Katraj, 6) Vishrantwadi, 7) Pune Station Moledina, 8) Wagholi, 9) Swargate, 10) Khadki Bazaar, 11) Deccan Gymkhana, 12) Nigdi, 13) Bhosari Shivaji Chowk, 14) Pimpri Road Chowk, 15) Chinchwad Village.

Passports open from 2 pm to 8 pm – 1) Hadapsar, 2) Warje Malwadi, 3) Katraj, 4) Pune Municipal Building, 5) Pune Station Moledina, 6) Swargate, 7) Bhosari Shivaji Chowk, 8) Nigdi.
