Rs 695 Crore Sanctioned For Pune District For Year 2021-2022

Pune, 17th July 2021: In a meeting of the District Planning Committee chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday, the general district annual plan approved the expenditure for the year 2020-21 till the end of March 2021 and the plan for Pune district for the year 2021-22 at Rs 695.00 crore. Under the Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan, the expenditure incurred till the end of March 2021 for the year 2020-21 as well as the plan of Rs. 128.93 crore for the year 2021-22 for the Pune district was approved.

 

Pawar directed the organization to properly plan the expenditure of funds sanctioned under the district annual plan.

A meeting of the Pune District Planning Committee was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in the hall of the Divisional Commissioner’s Office. Home Minister Dilip Walse-Patil, Minister of State Dattatraya Bharane, Zilla Parishad President Nirmalatai Pansare, Pimpri Chinchwad Mayor Usha Dhore, MP Supriyatai Sule, MP Girish Bapat, MLA Dilip Mohite, MLA Adv. Ashok Pawar, MLA Sangram Thopte, MLA Madhuritai Misal, MLA Sanjay Jagtap, MLA Atul Benke, MLA Sunil Shelke, MLA Sunil Tingre, MLA Chetan Tupe, MLA Siddharth Shirole, MLA Sunil Kamble, MLA Sharad Ranapise and Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh, Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil, PMRDA Chief Executive Officer Suhas Divase, ZP. Chief Executive Officer Ayush Prasad, District Planning Officer Sanjay Markale and senior officers of various departments were present.

Pawar said that all the administrative departments should give priority to spending the sanctioned funds on time for the proposed schemes and planning should be done as per the earlier instructions to spend 30 per cent of the funds for measures and necessary facilities for Covid.

The meeting also informed about the action taken on the issues mentioned in the minutes of the meeting of the District Planning Committee held on January 25, 2021, and also approved the expenditure incurred by the District Annual Plan for the year 2020-21 at the end of March 2021. Important issues related to general planning, scheduled caste sub-plan, district annual plan, budget plan for the year 2021-22 were discussed with the district planning committee. At the planning committee meeting, people’s representatives and committee members expressed their views on various issues. Members of the District Planning Committee, as well as Chief Officers of various agencies, were present on this occasion.
