Pune: PMPML To Introduce Application For Tickets Booking And Bus Timings Soon
Pune 14th Oct 2023: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) officials are working on an application that aims to provide ticket booking and other facilities to the commuters. The initiative aims to provide a digital solution to the commuter’s needs.
The transport body recently introduced a UPI payment option to purchase tickets during their journey. Now the officials are working on ‘PMP Go’ application that will provide information related to various routes, bus timings and an option to book tickets from anywhere for the passengers. To verify the online purchased tickets the conductos will be provided an option to verify it digitally. According to officials, the development of the application is in its final stage and it is likely to be launched by the end of October month.
There has been a demand from transport activists to launch an application to provide details about PMPML routes for the commuters. The transport body recently signed an agreement with Google for a bus tracking facility and the concerned officials are already working on it
