Pune: PMRDA Affordable Housing Lottery Draw to be Held on February 12

Pune, 10th February 2025: The much-awaited lottery draw for flats under the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) affordable housing scheme will be conducted on Wednesday, February 12.

The event will take place in Mumbai in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, along with Minister of State for Urban Development Madhuri Misal.

Lottery for 1,684 Flats Under PMAY and Affordable Housing Scheme
The lottery will determine the allocation of remaining flats under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) at Peth No. 12 and under the affordable housing scheme at Peth No. 30-32.

Peth No. 12 (PMAY): A total of 1,337 flats, including 47 flats in the EWS (1 BHK) category and 614 flats in the LIG (2 BHK) category, are up for allocation.
Peth No. 30-32 (Affordable Housing): A total of 676 flats, including 347 flats in the EWS (1 RK) category and 329 flats in the LIG (1 BHK) category, will be drawn.

Over 3,200 Applicants for Housing Allocation
A total of 3,271 beneficiaries had submitted applications for the scheme by the deadline of December 15, 2024. After scrutiny, 3,256 applications were deemed eligible, while 15 applications were disqualified. The draw was initially scheduled for January 22 but was postponed due to administrative reasons.

Local-Level Draw at PMRDA Office in Akurdi
Along with the Mumbai event, a local-level draw will be held at Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Auditorium in the PMRDA office, Akurdi. PMRDA Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase has urged applicants to be present at the Akurdi office for the draw.
