However, no details have been given as to where these plots are located, or whether there is an encroachment on them, only the files of the documents of these plots have been handed over to the estate department of the municipal corporation.

Due to this, Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar said that out of the plots transferred from PMRDA, 101 plots of internal road, 168 plots each of roads and facility area under regional plan and development plan, a total of 437 plots have been assigned to the municipality. After 11 villages which were first included in the municipal limits, the PMRDA has been following up with the Municipal Corporation for one and a half years to hand over the plots of roads and facility areas in 33 villages. As the PMRDA did not respond to it, finally the Municipal Corporation made a demand to the Collector’s Office. Then the Collector appointed a four-member committee under the chairmanship of the Deputy Collector (Revenue) and instructed them to transfer this plot to the PMC.

Accordingly, on Thursday, the files of the transfer of the said 437 plots have come to the property department of the municipal corporation. Although the said plot has come to the PMC, it has come only with documents. As a result, all these plots will be directly inspected by the PMC and will be counted by GPS mapping. PMRDA has not given any details about where there is encroachment, or whether it is encroached upon while giving this plot. Due to this, the estate department of the municipal corporation has started the process of getting information about all these matters, informed Rajendra Muthe, deputy commissioner of the estate department.
