Pune Police Commissioner Inaugurates State-of-the-Art Auditorium At Hadapsar Police Station

Pune, 9th June 2023: Hadapsar Police Station witnessed a momentous occasion as the newly constructed 125-seat auditorium was inaugurated today. The auspicious event was graced by the presence of Retesh Kumaarr, Commissioner of Police, Pune City, who inaugurated the auditorium with his blessed hands.

Several esteemed officials from the Pune City Police Force were also in attendance, including Additional Commissioner of Police East Regional Division, Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-5, Vikrant Deshmukh, and Assistant Commissioner of Police of Hadapsar Division, Ashwini Rakh.

The Hadapsar Police Station, known for being the busiest police station in the Pune City Commissionerate, requires a dedicated space for various meetings and events. With the significant workload faced by the police station, it becomes essential to accommodate gatherings for festivals like Shiv Jayanti, Ganeshotsav, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, Palkhi bandobast, and other occasions. The newly constructed auditorium will serve as a meeting hall for officers, staff, organizations, Mohalla Committees, Peace Committees among others.

The construction of the auditorium was made possible due to the generous contributions from Gits Company Pvt Ltd and BNY Pvt Ltd. Their support and assistance in this endeavor have been invaluable to the successful completion of the project.

During the inauguration, Senior Police Inspector Arvind Gokule presented a comprehensive overview of the police station’s performance over the past two years. He highlighted the reduction in serious crimes compared to the previous year, the successful investigations conducted by the team, and the efficient handling of case materials.

Inspector Gokule expressed his gratitude to the citizens, professionals, and political activists from all parties who have extended their support to the police station. He also acknowledged the cooperation received for the construction of the Hadapsar police post near Tupe Hall and the installation of the common man wall in the vicinity. The provision of 125 barricades by Magarpatta City and Serum Company for enhanced security measures was also recognized and appreciated.

In recognition of their significant contributions, Indrajitsen Gupta, senior officer from BNY Pvt Ltd., and PP Kundu, General Manager of Gits Company Pvt. Ltd., were felicitated by Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr. The Commissioner, along with Additional Commissioner of Police Ranjan Kumar Sharma, commended the officers and staff of Hadapsar Police Station for their overall outstanding performance.

The event was skillfully moderated by Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Thorat from Hadapsar Police Station. In addition to the officers and enforcers from Hadapsar Police Station, senior police inspectors from other police stations within the zone were also present to witness the inauguration of the new auditorium.
