Pune Police Detain Two International Cricket Bookies, Cash Over Rs One Crore Seized

Pune, 26th September 2021: The officials from Pune city police have detained two international cricket bookies after conducting raids in Marketyard and Samarth police stations today. The investigation is still going on.

Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta had received a tip-off regarding cricket betting. Accordingly, teams from Crime Branch’s social security cell and local police stations conducted raids. Police have detained Ganesh Bhutada and Ashok Dehurodkar.

Police officials said that some businessmen are under scanner based on documents seized from the two bookies.
