Wagholi, 29th September 2021: Pune City Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta today inaugurated the Wagholi Police Chowky (outpost) at Kesnand Fata. The Chowky will operate under the Lonikand police station and local residents can lodge complaints there.

The Commissioner appealed to the citizens to co-operate with the police in maintaining law and order in Wagholi and its neighbourhoods in view of the growing population.

He also appealed to companies and entrepreneurs to help build the infrastructure for the police chowky and police station under the corporate social responsibility (CSR) fund.

MLA Ashok Pawar, Additional Commissioner of Police (East region) Namdev Chavan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 4) Pankaj Deshmukh, Assistant Commissioner of Police Kishore Jadhav, Senior Police Inspector Gajanan Pawar of Lonikand Police Station, Police Inspector (Crime) Rajesh Tatkare, Officer-in-Charge of Wagholi Police Chowky Assistant Police Inspector Shivshant Khose and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
