656 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 88,855 Vaccine Doses Administered
Today, A total of 88,855 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,04,78,166. About 71,25,084 people have got the first dose while 33,53,082 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 6029 active patients in the district and 2334 of them are admitted to hospitals while 3695 are in home isolation. Out of 656 new cases, 189 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 113 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 56 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 06 in cantonments, and 292 in rural areas.
Among the 06 deaths, two were in PMC, two were in PCMC, and two were in rural areas. Out of 656 discharged patients, 141 were in PMC, 78 were in PCMC, 60 were in municipal councils, 13 were in cantonments, and 364 were in rural areas.
