Pune Police Takes Swift Action To Tackle Gang Violence And Vehicle Vandalism
Pune, 30th June 2023: In response to a series of gang fights and incidents of vehicle vandalism, Pune Police has taken proactive measures to address these issues. The recent clashes and destruction of vehicles by gangs in Sahakarnagar have prompted the police to take decisive action.
On Monday, a significant number of cars were vandalized by rival gangs in the Aranyeshwar area of Sahakarnagar. The clash between the two groups resulted in extensive damage to the vehicles. Local residents expressed their frustration with the police over the incidents.
In response, the police promptly arrested 31 individuals involved in the case. Subsequently, the main culprits were apprehended on Thursday.
In addition to the Sahakarnagar incident, gangs have also caused disturbance and vehicle damage in the Warje area. Despite orders to arrest the perpetrators and take strict action against them, the gang-related conflicts persisted.
Consequently, the police launched a comprehensive crackdown to dismantle the gangs and restore peace in the locality.
