Pune: Policeman tests COVID positive in Wagholi

Pune, May 13, 2020: A 50-year-old policeman of Pune city police, who resides in Kavdevasti in Wagholi, has been tested positive for COVID. He has been admitted to Naidu hospital, while his family members’ swabs have been sent for testing.
Also, those who came in his contact in recent past are being traced and quarantined by the primary health centre (PHC). The Wagholi Gram Panchayat has sprayed sanitizer in the premises of the policeman’s house and sealed the locality.
The administration is taking appropriate precautions and health measures. People should stay at home and cooperate with the administration.
