Pune: Porwal Road Faces Prolonged Power Outage after Moderate Rainfall
Pune, 29th May 2023: In the aftermath of a light rainfall measuring 5.8 mm in Lohegaon and a substantial downpour of 48.5 mm in Pimpri-Chinchwad, numerous parts of Pune are currently grappling with a power outage.
The power supply was disrupted at approximately 7:00 pm today evening, and even after a duration of 2.5 hours, residents along Porwal Road continue to face the inconvenience of no electricity.
MSEDCL PRO, Nishikant Raut, informed punekarnews.in that electricity has been restored in several areas across the city. Furthermore, efforts are underway to address the situation specifically concerning Porwal Road.
Update: After an interruption lasting approximately three hours, the electricity supply has been restored on Porwal Road.
