Pune: Porwal Road Work Pending As PMC Does Not Have Rs 2.5 Crore – MLA Sunil Tingre

Pune, March 26, 2023: Despite the daily traffic congestion faced by residents of Porwal Road, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is yet to allocate Rs 2.5 crore required to begin work on the alternative road, according to MLA Sunil Tingre in the legislative assembly.
Tingre expressed disappointment that despite assurances from the Pune Municipal Commissioner over the past year, the allocation has not been made.
It remains to be seen whether PMC, which recently announced a budget of Rs 9,500 crore, will allocate the necessary funds for Porwal Road.
