Pune: Prime Academy Students Shine in CBSE Board Exams and Set Sights on JEE and NEET
Pune, 13th May 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently announced the board exam results for Classes 10 and 12, bringing joy and a sense of accomplishment to many students who saw their diligent efforts reflected in their scores. Prime Academy, a renowned coaching institute, takes pride in its students who have demonstrated exceptional academic prowess by achieving perfect scores in multiple subjects and earning recognition among the top performers nationwide.
Joel Tikoo, Sradhanjali Choudhury, Madhura Gurav and Rhea Goyal who scored overall percentages of 98.8%, 98.6%, 98.4 % and 98.4 % respectively, emerged as the top students in their schools, Delhi Public School, Lexicon Hadapsar and St. Arnold. Additionally, several students, including Sradhanjali Choudhury, Madhura Gurav, Rhea Goyal, Yuga Mahajan, and Ayush Panwar, Joel Tikoo among others, scored perfect 100s in subjects such as Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence.
“I dedicated myself to preparing for the exams, and I’m thrilled with my performance. I have already begun attending JEE lectures at Prime Academy. Here, we focus on applying concepts, which is far more engaging than merely memorizing definitions and formulas. Prime Academy’s faculty members teach us to think at a fundamental level and guide us so that we can derive the formula on our own,” said Sradhanjali Choudhury.
DC Pandey, a renowned author and HOD of Physics at Prime Academy, congratulated all the students who achieved exceptional results. However, he emphasized that it is crucial for students, particularly those in the science stream, to remember that their performance in competitive exams like JEE, NEET, and CET will determine their entry into degree colleges like IIT and AFMC. He advised that now is the time for students to start their preparation under the guidance of experienced mentors.
Students should keep a few key points in mind while preparing for competitive exams. First, they must attend all lectures without fail, as subsequent topics often build on the current topic. Second, being interactive with teachers and asking doubts is crucial for enhancing their understanding of the subject matter. Third, revising the topics covered in class on the same day will help students recall and retain concepts for a longer period. By following these guidelines, students can maximize their chances of success in competitive exams.
Prime Academy’s impressive run continued with their Class 12 students as well, as Sajal Sharma emerged as one of the top performers in the country in CBSE 12th exams, earning an overall score of 98.2%. “My goal is to obtain a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from IIT Bombay, and I am putting in a lot of effort to achieve it. I am grateful for the support from my parents and Prime Academy teachers. Focusing on JEE preparation helped me feel comfortable with the board exam syllabus too,” said an excited Sajal after scoring perfect 100s in three subjects: Math, Physics, and an additional subject. Moreover, he qualified for JEE Advanced as he scored a 99.7 percentile in JEE Mains 2023. Another Prime Academy student, Pranav Ramanujam, achieved a perfect 100 in Physics during his 12th standard exams and is well on his way to emulating the success of his sister, Shreya, who secured a seat at IIT Madras. Pranav has already made impressive strides, scoring a 99.7 percentile in the JEE Mains 2023.
“With just a few days left for JEE Advanced 2023, students should focus on their strong topics and attempt as many mock tests as possible. We advise them against getting overwhelmed by weaker topics, as students can skip many problems in the exam due to the typically low JEE Advanced cut-off. The key is to remain focused and confident during these crucial final weeks of preparation,” said Mr. Lalit Kumar, B.Tech IIT Bombay and founder of Prime Academy.
Prime Academy is starting a comprehensive course for JEE and NEET 2025 in June, providing students with another opportunity to benefit from.
