Pune : Professor From Kolkata Drowns In Swimming Pool At Hotel, Case Registered

Pune 10th Oct 2023: In a tragic incident reported in the city, a professor who had come from Kolkata to deliver a guest lecture drowned at a swimming pool inside a hotel. The deceased had come to Pune to deliver lecture to the students of Chartered Accountant (CA) course.

According to officials, the decease identified as Mohit Agarwal, a resident of Kolkata was staying at a hotel located on Ganesh Khind Road in the city during his tour. During his stay in the hotel, he entered the swimming pool and drowned. Nobody around noticed him drowning and by the the time the help reached he was already dead.

The police have booked a person responsible for to look after the swimming pool in the hotel. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
