Pune: Prostitution Racket Exposed in Pimple Nilakh Spa Raid
Pimple Nilakh, 5th November 2023: The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Crime Branch conducted a raid on a prostitution business operating under the guise of a spa center. Two persons have been arrested, and three women have been rescued from the clutches of the illicit trade. The operation took place at JP Family Spa in Pimple Nilakh.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Jaya Ashok Jadhav (33 years old, resident of Bopodi) and Nikhil Mohan Navghan (31 years old, resident of Lakshmi Nagar, Thergaon). Additionally, the owner of the spa, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, has also been taken into custody.
The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit received credible information about the unlawful activities transpiring at JP Family Spa, located in Ingwale Nagar, Pimple Nilakh. Acting promptly on the received intel, the police executed a raid, uncovering a prostitution racket. Three women who were found to be engaged in the illicit business were promptly rescued, and the spa center’s owner and an accomplice were detained.
The detained individuals have been handed over to Sangvi police, leading to the registration of an FIR at Sangvi Police Station. The Sangvi police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
