Pune: Proutha Foundation Celebrates Woman Power On Daughters’ Day

Pune, 28th September 2021: A great initiative was taken by Proutha Foundation by organizing Samajik Sanskiritik Saahityik Samaan Samaroh on the occasion of Daughter’s Day. 

The idea was to not only celebrate women power but literature and social work as well. The programme was organized at Koregoan Park, Pune on 26th September. 

Minakkshi Baleraao, a poet, social worker and founder and president of Proutha Foundation, led this award ceremony. For the past 20 years, she has been ardently working to promote the Hindi language in Pune. Her efforts to recognize the work of people in the field of literature, social upliftment and culture are exemplary.

The programme was attended by various dignitaries from different backgrounds. Chief guests of the event were Mohan Joshi, Ex MLA and Vice President of MPCC; Vaishakha Gaikwad, President of Kamgar Sena & Mathadi Union, NCP, Pune; Anand Shyam Agarwal, Managing Editor at Aaj Ka Anand; Dr Neelam Jain, a renowned writer and Philosopher and Bobby Karnani from Viman Nagar Women’s Club. Deepti Deshmukh was also felicitated for her contribution in promoting Indian classical dance Kathak. 

The Guest of Honor included Komal Jain and Kumar Vaibhav, founders of Art Culturati. Together they head Art Culturati as a leading organization for creating an ecosystem to nurture various art forms and artists from all walks of life. 

The event held at Pune saw some of the celebrated and upcoming personalities coming under one roof. The evening reached its zenith with soulful poetry and music performances that mesmerized the crowd. The fact that it was a one-of-its-kind celebration conducted live after the Covid-19 restrictions and lockdowns, added to the excitement and charm of the event. The electrifying ambience proved to be a refreshing moment for everyone.
