Pune: Pt Sanjeev Abhyankar and Dhanashree Ghaisas to perform during Swar Vilas on June 5th
Pune, 1st June 202: Pt Sanjeev Abhyankar, an acclaimed vocalist and the senior disciple of Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj and Dhanashree Ghaisas, a promising vocalist from the world of Indian Classical Music and disciple of Pandita Ashwini Bhide Deshpande will perform during the Swar Vilas program on Sunday, June 5th.
An initiative of Vilas Javdekar Developers ‘Swar Vilas’ will take place at 5:00pm at MES Auditorium, BSM School, Mayur Colony, Kothrud. Entry to this program is free.
Free passes can be collected from Vilas Javdekar Developers offices at Kothrud, Sus and Wakad. Free passes shall be distributed on a first come first serve basis.
Recipient of many prestigious awards like the National award for best playback singer, Kumar Gandharv Award from the MP Government, President’s medal from All India Radio and so on Pt Abhyankar has carved a niche in the field of Indian Classical Music. Dhanashree Ghaisas is recipient of Scholarships from the Ministry of Culture (Government of India) in Hindustani Classical Music as well as Semi-Classical Music. She is a graded artist on ‘All India Radio’ and has received several scholarships and awards as a young performer. She has performed in the iconic Sawai Gandharv Bhimsen Mahotsav and the famous Gansaraswati Mahotsav held in Pune.
Tanmay Deochake (Harmonium) and Ajinkya Joshi (Tabla) will accompany both Pt Abhyankar and Ghaisas.
