Pune: Public E-Auction of 13 Vehicles Announced by Pimpri-Chinchwad RTO

Pimpri, 17th February 2024: In a bid to address non-payment of motor vehicle taxes and various offences under the Motor Vehicle Act, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Regional Transport Office is set to conduct a public e-auction of 13 impounded vehicles. The auction is scheduled for March 6, commencing at 10 am and concluding at 5 pm, with online proceedings extending until 6 pm.

The vehicles slated for auction, including Bus, HGV, LGV, D Van, Tourist Taxi, Excavator, among others, will be available for inspection at the Regional Transport Office premises in Moshi, Pimpri-Chinchwad, during office hours from 20th February to 5th March. Prospective buyers will have an opportunity to settle vehicle taxes until the auction date.

A comprehensive list of the vehicles earmarked for auction will be displayed on notice boards at key locations, such as Pimpri-Chinchwad Regional Transport Office, Collector’s Office, Tehsildar Pune City, Haveli, Junnar, Maval, Mulshi, Khed, Junnar, and Ambegaon. Additionally, the information will be accessible on the website https://eauction.gov.in/eauction

The terms and conditions of the auction will be made available on the website and the office notice board from February 16.

The public e-auction is set to take place online from 26th to 29th February on the website. Participation is restricted to GST holders, who must register online between 26th February and 1st March. A payment of INR 50,000 for each vehicle must be submitted at the Regional Transport Office, Pimpri-Chinchwad, by 6 pm on 1st March. The vehicles will be sold on an ‘as is’ basis through the public e-auction.

It is important to note that the Deputy-Regional Transport Officer and Taxation Authority retain the right to cancel or postpone the e-auction without providing a reason, stated a press release from the RTO.
