Pune: PWD Begins Filling Up Potholes On Wagholi-Lohegaon Road, Still Road Is Dotted With Pothole
Pune, 27th September 2021: There are many potholes on the 4 km stretch of Wagholi-Lohegaon Road and after repeated complaints from commuters, finally action is being taken. The Public Works Department (PWD) has started the repairing of this road and the potholes are being filled up. However, there are still many potholes on the road.
The citizens travelling from this road are suffering due to the potholes on the road. There was a constant demand for repairing this road. Pune district BJP vice president Dadasaheb Satav Patil had warned of agitation in this regard.
After that, NCP leader Rajendra Satav Patil, former Sarpanch Jayshree Rajendra Satav Patil, Chirag Rajendra Satav Patil, Shiv Sainik Sagar Gore had filled the potholes on this road at their own expense.
But again there were potholes on this road. Therefore, NCP leader Balasaheb Satav Patil has demanded to MLA Ashok Pawar to look into this matter. Also, a warning of agitation was given by Shri Shivchatrapti Pratishthan in this regard.
Recently, the PWD started repairing this road and potholes are being filed up. Many political and social activists have reviewed the work and expressed their satisfaction with it.
