Pune: Raid On Gambling Den In Swargate Area; Crime Branch Takes Action Against 17 People
Pune, 4th October 2022: The Social Security Cell (SSC)of the Crime Branch raided a gambling den in Swargate area. In this operation, the police seized valuables worth Rs 1,19,000. A case was registered against 17 people including the gambling den operator.
In this operation, the police seized Rs 30,270 cash, 13 mobile sets, and gambling materials with total goods worth Rs 1,19,000.
A case was registered against 17 people including the operator of the gambling den under the Maharashtra Gambling Prohibition Act in Swargate Police Station.
Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Srinivas Ghadge, Senior Police Inspector Vijay Kumbhar, Assistant Police Inspector Ashwini Patil, and Rajendra Kumawat, Baba Karpe, Ajay Rane, Hanumant Kamble, Sandeep Kolge etc carried out the operation.
