Pune University Extends Application Date Of Entrance Exam For PhD Courses
Pune, 4th October 2022: On behalf of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), the deadline for online application under the admission process for PhD has been extended. Therefore, the students can now apply till the coming Friday (October 7).
It is necessary to pass this entrance exam for admission to PhD courses in University affiliated college research centres. Students who are in the final year of post-graduation or have passed can apply for this exam. The entrance exam for the PhD course will be held on November 6.
The university has already announced detailed information about the number of seats available department-wise for PhD through a circular. According to this total of 3,187 seats are available.
It is advised that interested candidates first apply for these seats. Eligible candidates who have applied will pass a test of 100 marks, after which candidates will be selected through an interview. Candidates who have cleared M.Phil, NET and PET 2021 exams are given the concession to appear in this exam.
