Pune: Raid On Swarg Lodge In Hadapsar, Five Women Rescued From Prostitution
Hadapsar, 8th February 2023: Social Security Cell of the Pune Police’s Crime Branch has busted prostitution racket at Swarg Lodge near Harpale Vasti in Hadapsar Police Station limits. Five women have been rescued by taking action at this place, and a case has been registered against the concerned at Hadapsar police station.
The arrested accused has been identified as Maruti Mahadev Jadhav (30), a resident of Papade Vasti, Bhekrainagar, Hadapsar. Manisha Suresh Pukale, a police officer, has filed a complaint in this matter.
According to the information given by the police, the SSC had received information about the prostitution business in Swarg Lodge, which is located in front of Dhore Petrol Pump in Harpale Vasti. Accordingly, the police raided the place and rescued five women between the ages of 23 and 35.
Among those rescued are two women from Jharkhand and one each from Bihar, Mumbai, and Calcutta. The investigation has revealed that the accused, Maruti Jadhav, lured these women under pretext of providing jobs.
