Pune, 4th March 2026: Pune-based Rajpath Infracon, an organization engaged in the field of road construction and infrastructure development, has been honoured at the national level with the Build India Infra Award for becoming the first company to set four Guinness World Records in a single campaign.

Mohana Kadam, Executive Director, Rajpath Infracon, received the award from Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari at a function held in Delhi NCR recently. Former Chairman of the National Highways Authority of India Raghav Chandra, Davinder Singh of Primus Partners, Aryan and Arnav Kadam were also present on the occasion. Rajpath Infracon has been honoured with this award in recognition of its innovation, engineering excellence and determined teamwork in the Trailblazing Projects category of the Build India Infra Award.

A total of four Guinness World Records were set by Rajpath Infracon between January 5 and 11, 2026. These include the longest continuous stretch of bituminous concrete laid continuously in 24 hours (9.632 km, 3 lanes) i.e. 28.89 km of single lane road near Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, the highest quantity of bituminous concrete laid in 24 hours (10,657 metric tonnes), the longest stretch of bituminous concrete laid continuously (52.41 km, 3 lanes) i.e. 157 km of single lane road and the highest quantity of bituminous concrete laid continuously (57,982 metric tonnes).

The main objective of the Build India Infra Awards is to provide a platform for excellence in infrastructure development in the country, encourage innovation, sustainability and social impact, and inspire them to set new benchmarks. The Build India Infra Awards in various categories are given every year after judging by experts in the field. This year was the third year of these awards. The awards have received special support from the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
