Pune, June 26, 2020: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has decided to introduce the system of re-evaluation for the class XII subjects that have online examination in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination.

Presently, the examination for the subjects Information Technology (IT) and General Knowledge are conducted online. While re-evaluation was available for other examinations earlier after the results were declared, the option was not available for online examinations. It will now be available for the students who have answered the board examination in February-March 2020.

This year, a total of 1,34,810 students have appeared for IT, and 1,752 have appeared for the General Knowledge examination.

While several posts on social media have been spreading false information about the results of class XII, the State Board has emphasised that the date of the results is yet to be declared. Officials have appealed to the parents not to fall prey to the false information, as when the dates are declared they will be published on the State Board websites.
