Shivajinagar, 23rd April 2026: The special art exhibition “Reflections” was inaugurated with enthusiasm on Thursday morning at Bal Gandharva Art Gallery in the presence of chief guests.

Appreciating the initiative, Pune Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram said it was heartening to see over 50 former students of Seth Dagaduram Kataria High School—now working across diverse professional fields—continuing to stay connected through art.

“Students from different professions remaining connected through art and their beloved teacher is a truly unique concept. Such exhibitions offer relief from the stress of daily life. Even government officials like us get an opportunity to understand people and their work closely by visiting such exhibitions,” he said.

Prof. Dr. Nachiket Thakur and Marathi actress Rujuta Deshmukh were also present on the occasion. The exhibition, organised by the Katarians Art Group, features artworks across various mediums, including paintings, sketches, and watercolours.

The initiative has been guided by art teacher Shailaja Pathak, whose mentorship has helped former students sustain their artistic connection over the years. The exhibition received an enthusiastic response from art lovers in Pune on its opening day.

The “Reflections” exhibition will remain open to the public from April 23 to 25, 2026, at Bal Gandharva Art Gallery. Visitors can attend daily between 10:00 am and 7:30 pm.
