Pune : Renowned Poet N D Mahanor Passes Away in Pune
Pune 3rd August 2023: A renowned poet in Marathi literature N D Mahanor passed away at the age of 81 in Pune’s Ruby Hall Clinic on Thursday. He breathed his last at 8:30 am and the last rites will be performed at his village Palaskhed in Aurangabad district.
According to reports, Mahanor was suffering from a kidney problem for the last few years and he was unwell for the last few days. He was kept on the ventilator at city’s Ruby Hall Clinic.
A poet who was famous for his writting on nature and forest, Mahanor explored various poetic styles in Marathi poetry and songs. Namdev Dhondo Mahanor who was popularly known as N D Mahanor was also called a progressive farmer for his writing and work in the field of agriculture.
