Pune: Requests Have Been Made To Panchayat Administration To Not Release Sewage Water In Indrayani River: Nitin Maharaj More
Dehu, 8th March 2023: This year, there is enough water in the Indrayani river. However, village sewage is mixed with it. By sending a letter to the Dehu Nagar Panchayat administration, Pollution Control Board, and the Collector, the institute has demanded that the sewage of the village should not be released into the Indrayani river.
Sewage is being released into the river every day near the Vaikunthasthan location. Devotees bathe in this place and drink the same water. Trustee Sanjay Maharaj More warned that the administration will be responsible for any untoward incident.
Jagadguru Sant Shri Tukaram Maharaj Beej Sohala is taking place on Thursday (9th March), and lakhs of devotees are entering Dehu for the same. The organization has provided health, shelter, and clean water for the devotees. Sant Tukaram Maharaj Sadeh Vaikunth Gaman Festival is 375 years old. Lakhs of devotees from all over the state come to Dehu. Sant Tukaram Maharaj organization has successfully prepared to provide various facilities to these devotees. Nitin Maharaj More, president of the institute, gave information about this.
A total of 32 CCTV cameras have been installed in the temple for the safety of devotees. CCTV cameras are also going to be there at the place of the Vaikunthagaman ceremony. The Institute has written correspondence to the Dindi chief and officers of all government departments. Dindi will arrive in Dehu in two days, for which the paper shed has been set up and the lighting is also been put up on the temple.
Filters have been installed for clean water and 16 workers have been appointed for cleanliness. A medical facility is available and awareness will be given for cleanliness and hygiene.
The ghat of river Indrayani is being cleaned and the devotees have been provided with facilities in the newly constructed Bhakta Niwas. Accommodation facilities will be provided to the devotees in Pitti Dharamshala also. On behalf of the organization, Mahaprasad has been organized during the Yatra period. Nitin Maharaj More informed that the organization printed a new edition to make the books available to the devotees.
