Pune Resident Duped Of Rs 22.11 Lakhs In Land Sale Agreement Scam
Wagholi, 31st March 2023: Lonikand police station has registered an FIR against four accused for duping a person out of Rs 22.11 lakhs by promising possession of the land upon completion of the sale agreement.
The incident occurred between January and May 2022 at Shiraswadi in Haveli taluka. The accused have been identified as Nitin Gote, Rohit Goraksh Gote, Tushar Khedekar, and Rahul Mithun Hargude, and they have been arrested in connection with the case. The victim, Deepak Shivaji Khalse, a Vishrantwadi resident, lodged a complaint with the police.
According to the complaint, the accused assured Khalse and other individuals of completing the land agreement and delivering possession of the land. However, they failed to do so and cheated Khalse out of Rs 22.11 lakhs.
Police are further investigating the case.
