Pune Residents Captivated by Grand 77th Independence Day Celebration at Mundhwa Police Station
Mundhwa, 17th August 2023: Mundhwa Police Station, a part of the Pune City Police Commissionerate, organized a captivating event to commemorate India’s 77th Independence Day on August 15.
The program, held at Mundhwa Police Station, featured distinguished individuals including author, lecturer, and motivational speaker Datta Kohinkar, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. The ceremony was conducted under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Vishnu Tamhane.
The event was graced by eminent senior citizens, dedicated volunteers, students, and local residents of Mundhwa Police Station, including Shafiq Bhai Patel, the Founder President of Azad Rickshaw Drivers Association. Officers from the police station were honored and awarded for their exemplary service during the program. The program was further enriched by a melodious rendition of patriotic songs by Swapnil Surve, accompanied by Sandeep Patil, a policeman from Mundhwa police station.
Notably, the program showcased a harmonious blend of citizens from diverse backgrounds, reflecting the spirit of religious harmony and national unity.
The program was organized under the guidance of Additional Commissioner of Police (East Region) Ranjan Kumar Sharma, DCP (Zone 5) Vikrant Deshmukh and ACP (Hadapsar division) Ashwini Rakh.
