Pune: Retired Police Officer’s Son Fires In Hotel In Mundhwa
Pune, 14th September 2022: An incident took place where the son of a retired police officer was caught firing a pistol in a hotel in Mundhwa. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. A pistol has been seized from the accused, who has been booked in this case.
The name of the accused is Vijay Sharad Mane (age 43, resident of Pashan). Vijay’s father, Sharad Mane, was Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) with the Pune Police.
Vijay and his friends went to a hotel, Unwind, in Mundhwa on Sunday night. At that time, Vijay had an argument with some people. Vijay fired in the air with his pistol. After the shooting incident, there was panic in the Hotel. Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident. Vijay was detained after the police got information about the incident. A case has been registered against him, and his licensed pistol has been seized.
Two years ago, Vijay and his friends caused a ruckus in a hotel in Mundhwa. At that time, a non-bailable case was registered against Vijay along with his friends.
