Pune: Rickshaw Puller Robbed At Knifepoint On Bhandarkar Road

Pune, 28th October 2022: Thieves threatened a rickshaw puller with a knife and robbed his gold chains and rings worth Rs 80,000. A case has been registered against three thieves in this matter. The rickshaw puller has filed a complaint at the Deccan police station.

 

The complainant is a 74-year-old senior citizen rickshaw puller. He was staying at Bhandarkar Street. At that time, the thief, who pretended to be a passenger, said he wanted to go to Paud. The rickshaw puller took the vehicle to Paud. Then the thief started threatening him. Two accomplices of the thief came there on a bike. Armed with a knife, the thieves took away the gold chain and two rings from the rickshaw puller.

The thieves fled on a bike. Frightened, the rickshaw puller came to Pune. He lodged a complaint at the Deccan Police Station. Police are tracking the thieves. The police have seized the footage of the CCTV cameras in the Bhandarkar road area, and the Sub-Inspector of Police Sandeep Jadhav is investigating.
