Pune: Road Closure on Jungli Maharaj Road for Metro Station Girder Launching, Check Diversion Details
Shivajinagar, 23rd December 2023: In the Deccan Traffic Division of Pune City, crucial metro station girder launching work is scheduled to take place on 23rd and 24th December, from 00:01 AM to 07:00 AM. To ensure the safety and efficiency of traffic flow in Pune City during this period, Vijay Kumar Magar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Pune City, has announced temporary changes in the traffic on Jungli Maharaj (JM) Road.
During the specified hours on 23rd and 24th December 2023, the traffic on Jungli Maharaj Road from Jhansi Rani Chowk onwards to Nataraj Junction will be closed for vehicles, informed DCP (Traffic) Vijay Magar.
Alternate Route:
Motorists traveling from SG Barve Chowk to Jhansi Rani Chowk and PMC building to Jhansi Rani Chowk are advised to take Ghole Road. From there, they should make a left turn via Apte Road and proceed to their desired destination through Nataraj Chowk.
