Pune Road Rage: Businessman Attacked For Advising Bikers To Drive Carefully

Kasba Peth, 28th January 2025: A shocking incident unfolded near the Kasba Ganapati Temple when a businessman was attacked with a sharp weapon by two men after he advised them to drive carefully. The Faraskhana police have registered a case against the accused individuals.
The complainant, 45-year-old Yogesh Gopalji Thakkar, a resident of Bhavani Peth, reported the incident to the Faraskhana police station. According to the police, the incident occurred around 2 PM on Sunday (26th January).
Thakkar was leaving the Kasba Ganapati Temple area on his bike when he noticed two individuals riding recklessly. He advised them to “drive carefully” before parking his bike near the temple. Moments later, the two men confronted Thakkar, hurling abuses and physically assaulting him. They then attacked him with a sharp weapon, injuring his hand and back, before fleeing the scene.
Upon receiving the report, Police Inspector (Crime) Ajit Jadhav promptly visited the site of the attack. Further investigations are being carried out by Police Sub-Inspector Chandrakant Jalagi.
