Pune: Road Tax Exemption for Pandharpur Yatra Devotees And Pilgrims Granted From 13th June to 3rd July 2023
Pune, 15th June 2023: Devotees and pilgrims travelling to and from Pandharpur for Asadhi Vari in light and heavy vehicles have been exempted from road tax from 13th June to 3rd July. To facilitate the implementation of this exemption, a dedicated cell has been established at the Pune Regional Transport Office (RTO) for the issuance of stickers/passes.
Those who are embarking on the Pandharpur Yatra and seek to obtain a pass for the road tax exemption, it is required to submit the necessary documents which include the vehicle registration certificate, insurance certificate, PUC, tax receipts, driving license, fitness certificate, to the case section of RTO between 9 am and 10 pm. The Pune RTO has issued an appeal in this regard, ensuring a smooth process for obtaining the stickers/passes.
