Pune: Robber Uses Lift Request As Pretext To Loot Man In Dive Ghat
Kondhwa, 2nd April 2023: A man was robbed of Rs 33,000, along with his mobile phone and two-wheeler, at knifepoint on March 27 at Dive Ghat.
Ganesh Pratap Gaikwad, a resident of Barhanpur, Baramati, reported the incident and filed a complaint at Loni Kalbhor Police Station.
As per the police report, Ganesh was riding his two-wheeler when the thief asked for a lift around 8:30 pm. After a while, the thief pulled out a knife and robbed Ganesh of his belongings. The incident occurred at the first turn of Dive Ghat at Wadki and Ganesh raised an alarm after the robbery.
The Loni Kalbhor police are currently investigating the case.
