Pune: Round Table India Inaugurates School With Eight Classrooms In Pachane

Pune, 7th February 2023: Round Table India, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the education of underprivileged children, inaugurated a school of eight classrooms in Pachane village, Pune, on Sunday, 5th February. The project, worth Rs 40 lakh, was built free of cost for Zilla Parishad Primary School Pachane and was constructed as part of Round Table India’s “Freedom Through Education” initiative.

The school was constructed under the guidance of National President Manish Lakhotia, Area Chairman Rahul Wadhwa, and Amit Israni, Chairman of the Pune-based chapter 105 of Round Table India. The project was generously supported by donors such as P&G, Genie Auto Products Private Limited, Maruti Builders, Bharatsons Jewellers, Mumbai, and Tarini Steel Company.

Since Round Table India started this initiative in 1996, they have built over 8,000 classrooms across India, covering an area of over 2.6 million square feet and impacting the lives of over 8.6 million children. Last year, Round Table India built four classrooms at Pachane Village, and after assessing the needs of students and school administration, four additional classrooms were added this year.

The inauguration of the school was a significant step towards ensuring quality education for underprivileged children in Pachane village and was attended by several dignitaries from Round Table India. The organization remains committed to its cause of providing “Freedom Through Education” to children across India.
