Pune: Two Died In Collision With Speeding Truck In Hadapsar Area, Driver Escaped After Accident
Fursungi, 7th February 2023: An incident took place in the Hadapsar area where two people were killed when they were standing on the side of the road after being hit by a speeding truck.
A case has been registered against the truck driver who escaped after the accident.
The names of the deceased are Santosh Shivaji Harpale (37), and Laxman Annasaheb Patil (35), both residents of Fursungi, Hadapsar-Saswad road. Ganesh Chorghade (37), a resident of Fursungi, Hadapsar-Saswad road has filed a complaint at Hadapsar police station.
Santosh and Laxman were standing on the road near the old canal in Fursungi. At that time, a speeding truck hit both of them. The truck driver escaped after the accident. A case has been registered against the truck driver. A search is on for the truck driver, Police Sub-Inspector Pratap Singh Shelke is investigating.
