Pune: Rs 30 Lakh Paid For Murder Of Land Broker, Four Accused Arrested

Pune, 9th July 2022: It has been revealed that Rs 30 lakh were paid to four goons to kill a land broker. The Chatushrungi police have registered a case against these four for demanding an extortion of Rs 60 lakh from the land broker under the pretext of showing land at Mulshi.

A case has been registered against Rohit Akhade from Kothrud, Akash Kandhare from Chinchwad, Sanket Dahinje from Senapati Bapat Road, and Raju Kurhade. Rohit and Akash were recently arrested by the police in a different case and have been taken for an inquiry by the crime branch. One person has lodged a complaint at Shivajinagar police station in this case.

The complainant was introduced to the accused through an acquaintance. Raju Kurhade had given Rs 30 lakh to Rohit Akhade, Akash Kandhare, and Sanket Dahinje to kill the complainant. The accused then took the complainant to the Kondhawale-Belawade area of Mulshi under the pretext of showing the land. There, the accused held a pistol at him and demanded Rs 60 lakh.

The accused had threatened to kill him if he did not pay the amount. The complainant paid Rs 50,000 to the accused there. The complainant lodged a complaint after he escaped from the clutches of the accused.
