Pune: RT-PCR Test Compulsory For Wari

Pune, 1st July 2021: Maharashtra Government has given nod for wari however, it has made it compulsory to conduct RT-PCR test for those who will be participating in it. The permission is granted to only the ‘manachya’ (revered palkhis).

While granting the permission, the government has said that only revered palkhis will go on foot to Pandharpur adhering to all the norms of Covid appropriate behaviour. Only 40 warkaris have been allowed to participate in it.

Today Jagat Guru Sant Tukaram Maharaj palkhi took off from Dehu while on Friday Sant Shreshta Dyaneshwar Maharaj palkhi will take off from Alandi.
