Pune: RTO allots new dates for applicants who had appointments in 10-days lockdown period

Pune July 25, 2020: The Regional Transport Office (RTO) has issued a new date for applicants who had waited for 10 days in the strict lockdown from July 14 to 23.

As per the notice issued by the Regional Transport Officer Ajit Shinde, the applicants who had already taken an appointment during the 10-days lockdown will have to visit the RTO between July 27 to August 6 except holidays. The applicants including learner licence, permanent licence, fitness certificate, renewal and other works can visit the office between the given dates.

The learner licence applicants have already been given time and also informed by SMS through the Sarathi system.

Similarly, those who have permanent licence appointment can visit Alandi road office, IDTR Bhosari and Dive ghat till August 2 including holidays on July 25, 26, August 1 and 2 for a two-wheeler, four-wheeler, three-wheeler, heavy vehicles respectively.

The officials also requested the applicants to follow the rules of social distancing, wear masks and use sanitizers during their visit to RTO.
