Pune: Ruby Hall Clinic’s This Licence Cancelled For Six Months
Pune, 13th April 2022: The Maharashtra State Government has cancelled the licence to perform organ transplants for six months.
Health department had earlier issued a show-cause notice to the hospital over alleged malpractice in a recent kidney transplant. After that the licence was suspended yesterday.
The notice was sent after a woman from Kolhapur was allegedly fraudulently presented as the organ receiver’s wife and promised Rs 15 lakh in return. The “wife” was the donor for the kidney transplant surgery.
