Koregaon Park, 16th September 2022: Many people are curious about Osho Rajneesh Ashram. Followers of Osho come to this ashram from every corner of the world. At the height of his fame, the well-known actor Vinod Khanna also left everything behind and spent several years in Osho ashram. What is it like in this ashram? What exactly happens in Osho’s ashram, which teaches the principle of ‘Sambhog se Samadhi’.

 

Osho Ashram is located on 28 acres of land in the Koregaon Park area of Pune built in 1974. In this ashram, one can see attractive scenery, carvings engraved on marble stone, a swimming pool, etc. But this ashram has some rules and every person coming to this ashram is bound to follow these rules.

 

1. HIV Test – Registration is required at the main gate before entering this ashram. A blood sample is then taken from the registered person for an HIV test. After that, admission to the ashram is given, along with an identity card.

 

2. Uniform – Every person who comes to this ashram is given a uniform of red and white colour. It is compulsory to wear this uniform while staying in the ashram. The uniform is also available outside the ashram.

 

3. One can get a room in the ashram by paying Rs six to ten thousand per day. Apart from this, one can also stay in a hotel outside the ashram.

 

There is an induction program after entering the ashram. After that, there is a tour of the ashram. Meals and dances are held in the open space. Apart from this, meditation and some speeches in Osho’s voice are also heard in this camp. The environment in this ashram is also beautiful. Artificial springs, greenery, bushes, and bamboo forests make the atmosphere pleasant and peaceful.
